Las adiciones de hierro (2%) o n\u00edquel (2%) tienen como objetivo esencialmente aumentar las caracter\u00edsticas mec\u00e1nicas del CuAl. Son aptos para el mecanizado en fr\u00edo y permiten la producci\u00f3n de laminados y tubos cuyas caracter\u00edsticas son superiores a las del lat\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Estas mismas soluciones en versi\u00f3n bif\u00e1sica* o polif\u00e1sica* contienen de 8 a 9,5% de aluminio y, en ocasiones, incluso hasta 10 %. Estas aleaciones son adecuadas para trabajos en caliente y soldadura. Se introduce para eliminar el fen\u00f3meno de desaluminizaci\u00f3n*. Este efecto s\u00f3lo se produce en condiciones de enfriamiento lento del metal despu\u00e9s de un aumento de temperatura superior a 700\u00b0C (soldadura).<\/p>\n<p>Las aleaciones de fundici\u00f3n son siempre bif\u00e1sicas o polif\u00e1sicas. Generalmente est\u00e1n compuestos de 9 a 12% de aluminio. particularmente en agua salina, as\u00ed como por su buena resistencia al desgaste. Gracias a sus caracter\u00edsticas mec\u00e1nicas sigue siendo muy resistente, incluso a temperaturas muy altas.<\/p>\n<p>Ofreciendo muy buena conductividad el\u00e9ctrica y t\u00e9rmica, es perfectamente compatible con la mayor\u00eda de tratamientos de superficies y pinturas.
